Ann Purser writes the Lois Meade Mystery Series which started in 2002 and takes place in England. It features a devoted wife and mother of three, Lois Meade who cleans houses in the quaint English village of Long Farnden. The series also features Inspector Cowgill-- as an amateur sleuth Lois helps the Inspector solve murders. The 1st seven books are named after the days of the week. The newer books are numbered.
